hi friends!

get to know me

HI! I figured now was a great time to re-introduce myself, with the Instagram handle change and all! You know me from @lashcastpodcast, and you’ve probably also seen me hint for quite some time that I would be switching this account over to reflect my solo business, Reverie Beauty Co (the inspo behind the name is coming soon!). What you might not know is some of my history…

  • I grew up in Santa Cruz, CA which is theee cutest beach town in the Bay Area. It’s about an hour fifteen south of San Francisco. Santa Cruz is where my family lives and will forever be home!

  • I lived in Los Angeles for nearly 8 years before my hubby and I moved to Nashville in February (2020).

  • I worked for MAC Cosmetics for a few years and did freelance makeup for a few more years before I decided to get my Esthetician license in 2014 which led me to start doing lashes in 2015.

  • I started working at Integrity Lash (with Paul & Tussanee) in 2015 and we started recording the podcast in October 2017.

  • I’ve taught at ISSE Long Beach and IBS Vegas a few times and at the first LashCon (now known as The LashConference, thanks very much to a big name falsie lash brand for trademarking it and not using it lol).

  • I’m double certified in both classic and volume… although truth be told, I don’t put certifications on a pedestal because the paper means nothing if it isn’t reflected in your work. I’d rather you be excellent with one cert instead of mediocre with 10.

  • I love neutral tones and anything that evokes an ethereal feeling. I love rainy days because for some reason, they feel magical. I’m an Enneagram 1 with a 9 wing. Basically this means I’m a perfectionist, instantly see what needs improvement… but am also a peacekeeper. It’s fun. LOL.

I have a passion for education and training and am just about to explode with excitement about bringing it all to you. This is why I’m taking the time with this series to break down the components of my brand - I want to inspire you, get you excited to learn more, and give you a taste of the types of topics, tips + tricks that you’ll find in in my Brandable guide!

If you know your Enneagram, tell me below!

xo, erika
